About The Practice
A faith-based, DBT-inspired path to emotional wholeness and spiritual alignment.
The Mind-Spirit Bible Practice was created to help people bridge the gap between emotional health and spiritual growth. Rooted in biblical truth and inspired by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), this approach offers practical skills and spiritual reflections for everyday life. Whether you’re navigating your own mental health, supporting clients in practice, or leading within the church, you’ll find tools here to help you regulate emotions, renew your mind, and walk closely with God’s Spirit.

The Story of MSB Practice
The Mind-Spirit Bible Practice was born from a personal journey of learning to hold faith and emotion in the same hand. As a foster mother, advocate, and lifelong follower of Jesus, Nicole Doña experienced firsthand how mental-health tools and spiritual truth can work together to bring healing and wholeness.
What began as a private practice of prayer, journaling, and DBT-inspired reflection became a movement to help others reconnect their minds, emotions, and spirits to God’s presence. Today, this community exists to equip individuals, clinicians, and church leaders with resources that unite biblical wisdom, emotional literacy, and the transforming love of Christ.
The Heart Behind the Practice
Hi, I’m Nicole Doña — author of The Mind-Spirit Bible Practice and a passionate believer in the power of emotional honesty and spiritual formation.
As a wife, foster mom, community leader, and lifelong learner of both Scripture and psychology, I’ve walked through seasons that tested every layer of my mind, heart, and faith. What I discovered is that healing requires both truth and love — a way to connect evidence-based tools like DBT with the living presence of God.
This practice grew out of my own journey toward wholeness — learning to pray through emotions, renew my mind through Scripture, and find peace in God’s Spirit even in chaos. My hope is that this space becomes a home for your healing, too.
